Marketing is the business process of identifying, anticipating, creating and satisfying consumer demand in a competitive marketplace. Our students learn these skills by developing marketing plans, collecting real data, and participating in other practical projects and simulations. The Management and Marketing Department is committed to teaching students to communicate effectively and think globally.

Curriculum

The marketing degree requires 126-128 credits. Since there is demand for marketing professionals in every industry, the curriculum exposes students to a vast number of subjects, from social media to sustainability marketing and many more.

The following courses are required in addition to the business core courses:

  • MKT 361 - (W) Marketing Research
  • MKT 362 - Consumer Behavior
  • MKT 470 - Marketing Communications
  • MKT 476 - Marketing Strategy
