The management major provides students with a strong foundation in small group and organizational dynamics, training them to be confident future leaders in an ever-changing workforce.

Curriculum

The management degree requires 125-127 credits. Students who major in management may choose general studies or concentrate their studies in one of two tracks: People and Teams or Structures and Systems.

Management majors must complete at least 18 credits (6 courses) from any of the following electives in addition to the Business Core Courses and General Education requirements:

  • MGT 361 - Human Resources Management
  • MGT 362 - Employee-Management Relations
  • MGT 471 - Group Dynamics
  • MGT 474 - (D) Managing a Multicultural Workforce
  • MGT 460 - Organization Theory
  • MGT 461 - Managing Through Systems and Quality
  • MGT 462 - Project Management in Organizations
