Business Administration, BS

The business administration major merges the flexibility of a liberal arts curriculum with a rigorous business education. Because the program is so flexible, students interested in entering a blended field of industry can gain exposure and familiarity with core business principles while continuing to develop their knowledge base in another field of study.

"We are living in a rapidly changing environment. In order to cope with changes, our business administration program helps students to cultivate a deep understanding of themselves and to be aware of megatrends that are changing the way people behave and firms work. This program is not only preparing our students to lead changes, but also to build a life of excellence."

Associate Professor Taewan Kim, Ph.D.

Curriculum

The business administration curriculum requires 125-127 credits. It allows students to learn about the field of business from a broader perspective, rather than one specific field.

The curriculum is designed to expose students to the many core areas of business as well as allow them to choose a concentration if they desire. Students will take courses in economics, accounting, statistics, management, marketing, policy and strategy for a solid business background.

Business administration majors must take 18 credits in business electives in addition to their core courses.
